Tracing its origins to the 1970s in Donaskeigh, Tipperary, Woodco Energy was born during a time when open fires, fueled by peat and wood, dominated Irish households. In 1972, Gerard Crosse innovatively designed a “back” boiler, leveraging the fire to heat other parts of the home.
