Who we are

pvsolarpanels.ie ("we", "us") operates this website to connect homeowners in Ireland with vetted solar panel and EV charger installers. For data protection queries, contact info@pvsolarpanels.ie.

What we collect and why

• Quote requests: your name, email, phone number, county, Eircode (optional) and message. We use these to provide the quotes you asked for — our lawful basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Installer matching: to fulfil your request, we share your quote details with installers in our vetted network who cover your county. They may contact you directly about your quote and must handle your data in line with GDPR.
• Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and to keep the site running (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
• reCAPTCHA: our quote form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. Google may collect device and interaction data; see the Google Privacy Policy.

Retention

Quote request data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted. Server logs are rotated by our hosting provider on a short cycle.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restrict or object to processing; and request portability. Email info@pvsolarpanels.ie to exercise any right. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission.
